Sharing is caring
Those of you who receive our weekly Top Tip emails will know how we like to break down the entire awards entry process into stress-free snippets of sound advice.
(Those of you who don’t as yet receive our weekly Top Tips emails should arrange to get onto our mailing list as soon as possible to avoid the disappointment which can often arise from not receiving these pearls of wisdom – drop a message to Rachel and get on the list immediately! rachel@theawardspeople.co.uk).
Anyway, back to the point I hear you say…
It’s all well and good to receive one great ‘tip for success’ per week but we realise that it can be difficult to keep track of past gems when every new one grabs all our attention. Being a very helpful bunch of folks here at The Awards People HQ we thought it might be nice (dare we say generous?) to provide a quick cheat sheet and remind all you budding and experienced award participants of just some of the useful award entry ideas we’ve shared.
So, in no particular order (as they are, of course, all of equal significance) here is your starter for 5;
- Think about the biggest business change you made last year
Is it award-worthy and were there learnings you’ve now embedded into your company culture?
- Utilise an employee suggestion scheme to find your best features
What is great about your business in the eyes of those who spend most time in it?
- Look for awards logos in emails from your clients or peers
Discover the awards which might mean most to those who matter to you
- Watch out for award coverage in your industry magazines
Which events are important within your industry and relevant to your market?
- Get your ‘awards arsenal’ ready
Think about the supporting information you could pull together in advance
We will offer up another 5 top tips on this very blog page next week but in the meantime please don’t forget to check out our vlog page to see and hear some of the great experiences shared by the wonderful guests we have come along to our sofa of success. Continuing the spirit of being helpful, here’s the link to access the vlogs…
