100% Success Rate at the Aesthetic Awards!
HUGE congratulations to our clients Dr Vincent Wong of Vindoc Aesthetics and Dr Lorraine Hill of Hampton Clinic who are both finalists in the Aesthetic Awards – in all categories entered!
Dr Wong entered into three categories: Best Non-surgical Result, Practitioner of the Year and, the one that we think will mean the most to him, Professional Initiative of the Year for his LGBTQ+ campaign #IAmMe
Speaking about the #IAmMe campaign Dr Wong said, “When I set up my own clinic in Harley Street I developed a specialism in facial feminisation and masculinisation within the LGBTQ+ community after getting involved with and supporting Pride for many years, and treating many patients from the community including celebrities and well-known drag performers.
“Being deeply involved in the LGBTQ+ community I understand the issues many face when thinking about who to approach to help them in their aesthetic wellness journey. Many are unaware of the possibilities available to achieve what they want without surgery as there has been a profound lack of education in the LGBTG+ community. Many don’t know who to go to and others feel that some aesthetic practitioners wouldn’t be able to relate to them and what they want.
“This led to my creating and launching the world’s first LGBTQ+ campaign in medical aesthetics with the aim of promoting safety and inclusivity in wellbeing and medical aesthetic beauty. The #IAmMe campaign launched in June 2019 and is supported by actor / musician Duncan James, Britain’s Next Top Model’s trans contestant Tallulah-Eve and global pharmaceutical company Allergan amongst others.
“The campaign reflects my wholly inclusive approach to cosmetic consultations, expectations and treatments. Its ethos is about creating a safe space for the community to discuss the daily issues they face and empower and enable the community to find strength, power and inner belief through aesthetics and embracing diversity. Whilst I appreciate that medical aesthetics isn’t for everyone, for some it helps with channelling the confidence, courage and strength to be their truest and best self.”
Hampton Clinic and the amazingly talented Dr Lorraine Hill are also through to the finals in both categories entered: Best Clinic Midlands & Wales and Best Clinic Reception Team!
Dr Hill commented on the news saying, “Hampton Clinic’s reception team comprises of Managers and therapists who are all trained to the very highest level. We take ongoing professional and personal development very seriously and every team member has a 12 month programme in place at the beginning of each year.
“Our reception team enhance our clients experience when they come into our Clinic. They are the first point of contact and are here specifically to ensure everyone contacting us and / or stepping foot into our Clinic are warmly welcomed, made to feel at home, are able to relax and, particularly during the pandemic, are safe for the duration of the time they are with us. They are key to the continuing growth of the business and to ensuring our clients receive the very best experience possible. I am delighted to hear that Hampton Clinic’s Reception Team are through to the finals and to hear that Hampton Clinic is also in the finals for Best Clinic Midlands & Wales really made my day!”
Fabulous news and very, very much deserved! The winners will be announced at the Aesthetics Awards Ceremony on the 29th May 2021.
